Hello, my name is Jonny, a current Junior in the Haverford school, Pennsylvania. I have always had a deep love for math. Over the years, my passion for math has grown, and it has become more than just a subject for me—it’s a way of thinking, a lens through which I approach challenges and problem-solving. This love for learning and helping others has inspired me to lead HOTC, a nonprofit organization dedicated to making a positive impact in our community. Through tutoring, volunteering to support elderly, supporting food banks, and raising funds for schools, we aim to bring people together and create lasting change. I believe that just like math, every act of kindness adds up to something greater.

Anne Zhu

Hello, my name is Anne, a current Junior at Unionville High School, Pennsylvania. I am passionate about helping others and giving advice whether it’s in or out of school! I am currently taking AP Chemistry, a course in which I have helped tutor other students. What got me interested in the field of chemistry was being able to work in a lab over the summer and conduct my own research. It has allowed to gain lots of experience and knowledge, inspiring me to deepen my understanding on the foundation behind science and see all the connections between real life and science as a whole. Through HOTC, a program specifically designed to help others, I hope to encourage other students and create a positive impact on our community. I am excited to work with my other talented members and continue to keep learning and growing!
